What You Will Accomplish With Us

As an IT Equipment Warehouse Technician, you will be at the heart of our mission. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Welcome users at the IT Service Desk located in iA offices, quickly assess their needs, and provide immediate, professional, and courteous on-site technical support.

  • Assist users in person, gather feedback, and provide guidance on best practices related to the use of IT tools, technologies, and services.

  • Perform IT diagnostics, ensure diligent follow-up with requestors, and strive for effective incident resolution within the assigned scope while minimizing escalations whenever possible.

  • Manage on-site IT support requests as well as requests submitted through service management tools, ensuring timely and effective resolution.

  • Install, configure, and manage workstations, mobile devices, and IT accessories while maintaining accurate asset records, inventories, and documentation.

  • Participate in the management of supplies and equipment, including receiving, storing, and maintaining workstation preparation and storage areas.

  • Install, operate, and dismantle audiovisual equipment for corporate events, while providing on-site technical support to organizers and presenters to ensure seamless execution.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Is recognized for outstanding customer service skills, strong interpersonal abilities, a collaborative mindset, and a commitment to continuous improvement, both in person and over the phone.

  • Stands out through an excellent knowledge of productivity tools and applications, including hardware, software, and online solutions.

  • Demonstrates strong technical expertise with Windows and Mac environments, as well as mobile devices (Android and iOS). Experience working with Internet Service Providers or telecommunications companies is considered an asset.

  • Is recognized for a willingness to learn and the ability to thrive in a constantly evolving technology environment.

  • Has a minimum of 2 to 5 years of experience in IT support, along with a college diploma (DEC or AEC) in Information Technology or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.

  • Has an advanced level of English proficiency, as the incumbent will be required to provide technical support, diagnose and resolve incidents, install and configure IT equipment, and collaborate and communicate daily in English with English-speaking users, internal IT teams, and external vendors.

  • Has an intermediate level of French proficiency (an asset).

The typical hiring range for this position is $60,636 to $79,585 CAD per year. The offered base salary may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, years of experience, and internal equity considerations. At iA, we are committed to maintaining a fair, equitable, and market-based compensation structure. Our market data is updated annually to reflect the most current market conditions.
