Description
We are looking for someone who is hands-on, mechanically inclined, dependable, and takes pride in doing quality work. This position will involve both shop fabrication and field installation at industrial customer facilities.
What You'll Do:
- Layout, fabricate, install, and modify industrial piping systems.
- Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, and piping layouts.
- Measure, cut, fit, and install pipe, fittings, valves, and supports.
- Work with carbon steel, stainless steel, and other industrial piping materials.
- Perform equipment and piping installations at customer facilities.
- Use hand tools, power tools, cutting equipment, and fabrication equipment.
- Work closely with welders, millwrights, electricians, and other trades.
- Troubleshoot and make modifications to existing piping systems.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Travel to customer sites as required.
What We're Looking For:
- Previous industrial pipe fitting experience.
- Strong mechanical ability and good problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read drawings and accurately lay out work.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience with industrial manufacturing environments preferred.
- Welding experience is a plus.
- Millwright or industrial maintenance experience is a plus.
- Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
- Must be willing to travel for occasional extended projects.
