Cost Manager MEP (Semiconductor Project)

The Opportunity

In this role you will:

• Prepare and manage project budgets, forecasts, and cost models using historical data, CostX and other tools
• Perform risk and variance analysis; identify mitigation actions
• Deliver regular dashboards, “cost to complete” (CTC) tracking, and unite stakeholders on cost-performance.
• Create estimates and cost plans for key client developments
• Support nimble project management and clear decisions through excellent cost documentation and timely communication
• Oversee project spend by creating valuations and cost reports and clearly communicate variations to your team
• Actively participate in the tender/bid process--from initial tender/bid documentation through analysis and reporting
• Generate and manage project budgets/ forecasts
• Monthly Cost report/cash flows
• Vendor bill Certification/evaluations
• Change/Variation management
• Quantity takes off
• Maintain a comprehensive database of costs.
• Generate various trackers like PO/Invoice/Variation trackers etc.
• Prepare and organize documents required for approvals.
• Conduct benchmarking for existing and new projects.
• Monitor and manage lead times effectively.
• Leverage local market knowledge to support procurement activities.
• Assist in vendor negotiations to achieve favorable terms.
• Provide market intelligence support for new suppliers and equipment categories.
• Track and manage delivery schedules.
• Stay tech-savvy and open to learning new tools.

We would love to hear from you if you:

• Experience in High-Tech industries, particularly Semiconductor Facilities, Pharmaceutical Laboratories, and Clean Room Projects, will be strongly preferred.​
• Have a degree or comparable experience in a cost management or construction discipline 
• Are chartered or are on the path to complete it.  We can help.
• Happy to travel for short periods to meet with your clients, partners and team
• Have experience in pre- and post-contract cost management on varied projects
• Love a dynamic environment with the opportunity to manage your own priorities and deadlines

 All interviews are conducted either in person or virtually with video required.
