The ITC development team is composed of developers from junior to senior, working with different strengths. In a dynamic, multi-project and multi-timeline environment, ITC needs someone with proven leadership skills to liaison with our Project Director and Magento team in order to constantly improve our team, our processes and our delivery.

Responsibilities

• Work on Magento-based e-commerce projects, ensuring high performance, responsiveness, and user-friendly interfaces.
• Customize and extend existing Magento modules to meet project requirements.
• Develop custom Magento modules based on project specifications.
• Design and implement efficient, reusable, and maintainable code structures.
• Provide technical insights and recommendations during project planning and execution.
• Integrate Magento with third-party applications, APIs, and extensions as needed.
• Develop and maintain API integrations to ensure seamless data flow between systems
• Identify and address performance bottlenecks and optimize the performance of Magento applications.
• Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure quality and adherence to coding standards.
• Implement thorough testing processes to ensure the reliability and stability of developed features.
• Collaborate with Quality Assurance teams to ensure comprehensive testing coverage.
• Create and maintain technical documentation for developed features, modules, and customizations.

Requirements

Must Have

• Native Chinese, nice to have proficiency in English (more in Reading and Writing)
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Magento Developer, with a strong portfolio of Magento-based e-commerce projects.
• Expertise in hands-on Magento 2.4+ / Adobe Commerce development
• Strong PHP (7.4+ / 8.x), MySQL, and OOP skills
• Experience building custom Magento modules and extending core functionality
• REST API development and third-party system integration experience
• Familiarity with ERP/OMS integration patterns (order sync, inventory sync, product data sync)
• Experience with payment gateway integration (Stripe, WeChat Pay, or similar)
• Git + GitLab workflow (merge requests, code reviews, CI pipelines)
• Linux server fundamentals (SSH, deployment, cron jobs, log debugging)
• Understanding of MVC/MVVM patterns and Magento's dependency injection system
• Able to work independently, pick up tickets from the backlog, and deliver without hand-holding

Nice to Have

• Any additional programing language is a plus
• Involvement in the Magento community is a big plus
• Knowledge of JavaScript (ES5/ES6)
• Experience in working with WeChat API
