Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
- End-to-End Accounting Operations
- Maintain Agro - Quaker financial number and ensuring Inventory and costing compliance accurate and timely financial records in accordance with US and local GAAP.
- Handle journal entries, general ledger maintenance, and monthly closing activities.
- Coordinate monthly closing and reporting process of inventory
- Monitor compliance with the Statutory and Government submissions and the effectiveness of the day-to-day transactional activities outsourced to the IBM BPO by assisting in reviewing key reports and analysis (aging, key account schedules) and resolution of issues, if any.
- Analyze Inventory in transit / actual spending movement of each Potato Seeds and Quaker product.
- Prepare details of inventory information for monthly BSR review.
- Assist the Control team in the preparation and review of various external reporting requirements to ensure that they have been accurately prepared
- Support the Control team in the implementation of financial policies/guidelines
- Ensure proper document filing for the statutory audit purpose
- Support the Indonesian market business unit by providing timely, accurate, and cost-effective financial and management reporting in accordance with local requirements and PEP policies.
- Assist in monitoring the Key account financial reporting and KPIs focusing on the provision of accurate and timely reporting
- Billing & Revenue Recognition
- Create and issue sales invoices for potato/seeds transactions.
- Ensure proper revenue recognition and reconciliation with sales data.
- Accounts Payable Management
- Process purchase invoices for potato/ seeds and Quaker procurement and other operational expenses.
- Monitor payment schedules/ offsetting and ensure timely disbursements.
- Coordinate with Agro team operations for invoice validation.
- Financial Controls & Compliance
- Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure compliance.
- Support audits and ensure documentation is complete and accurate.
- Identify and mitigate financial risks within the entity.
- Lead the development and implementation of controls on inventory management, regularly review the I2C process to ensure effective control is in place in accordance with GCS.
- Finance contact point/Go to person for operation team on all Agro/ Quaker costing issues related.
- Educate Agro operations teams on policies and processes relating to inventory and costing.
- Reporting & Analysis
- Prepare financial analysis for management review.
- Support budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Assist in the preparation and review of various reporting requirements to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of submissions
- Cross-functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Agro/ Quaker operations, procurement, and manufacturing teams to ensure financial alignment and to improve and support improvements in the simplification of operational process.
- Provide accounting support for business decisions and process improvements.
- Act as center of expertise (COE) in providing effective accounting guidance on business issues and initiatives, on all financial accounting and operational control-related matters.
Qualifications
Requirements
- 3-5 years’ experience in Financial Accounting and US / IFRS GAAP standards and at least 2 years of product costing experience
- Bachelor of Accounting/Finance subject.
- FMCG industry experience is a must
- SAP and HFM experience with extensive knowledge of SAP FI-CO/ MM modules
- Solid analytical/functional skills. Ability to connect the dots/see the big picture without losing sight of details.
- Strong operational and financial awareness (Inventory management, Product costing, Standard cost)
- Solid understanding of Product costing
- Good knowledge of local GAAP accounting
- Excellent functional Knowledge
- Good verbal and written communication skills in english
- Ability to prioritize and function efficiently with tight deadlines
- A proven ability to work well in a team environment across functions
- Ability to work independently and manage deadlines efficiently
