This position plays a key role in supporting electrical power distribution, plant control systems, and SCADA operations while leading electrical engineering projects from concept through construction.
Highlighted Duties:
- Support and administer SCADA systems, including troubleshooting, upgrades, and system optimization.
- Provide engineering support for electrical power distribution systems and plant control systems.
- Troubleshoot complex electrical and control system issues to improve plant reliability and performance.
- Design and review electrical engineering projects for plant operations and infrastructure improvements.
- Develop project scopes, schedules, budgets, specifications, and cost estimates for capital improvement projects.
- Manage projects through design, construction, inspection, and completion while maintaining budgets and schedules.
- Coordinate projects with internal departments, utility providers, government agencies, contractors, and other stakeholders.
- Prepare technical specifications and contract documents that meet company standards and procurement requirements.
- Resolve technical, construction, and customer-related issues efficiently and cost-effectively.
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies through continuing education and professional development.
Highlighted Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum one year of experience in electrical power system design OR PLC programming / equipment troubleshooting.
- Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification or ability to obtain within two years.
- Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering is a plus.
