Global Clearance Solutions (GCS) is a Switzerland-based provider of integrated technological and operational solutions for explosive threat mitigation. Founded in 2015, the company develops and deploys mission ready systems while delivering end to end clearance services for landmines, ERW and IEDs across humanitarian, military and commercial sectors. With German engineering, a multinational expert team and operations in more than 30 countries, GCS reduces explosive risks, restores safe land usage and enables secure movement as a full‑solution provider.

As a Training & Field Support Specialist, you will provide worldwide technical support for our mine clearance systems and play a key role in customer training, field service, and product support. Working closely with Engineering, Technical Support, and Production, you will help ensure the reliable operation and continuous improvement of our products while supporting customers around the globe.

Your Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, repair, and commissioning of our systems at customer sites worldwide
• Diagnose technical issues and provide on-site troubleshooting and support
• Deliver technical training for customers, partners, and internal teams
• Support prototype assembly, factory overhauls, and product improvements
• Collaborate with Engineering on technical clarifications and spare parts inquiries
• Plan and participate in international service assignments and field trials
• Document service activities, training sessions, and technical findings to support continuous product improvement

Your Profile

• Completed vocational training in Mechatronics, Agricultural or Construction Machinery, Electronics, or a comparable technical field
• Several years of experience in technical service, maintenance, repair, or field support
• Experience delivering technical training or customer training is an advantage
• Strong troubleshooting skills and a structured, independent working style
• Customer-focused mindset with excellent communication and presentation skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 applications
• Willingness to travel internationally (up to 80%)
• Very good written and spoken German and English
