Overview:
RMIT Vietnam is seeking a Career Ready Internship Assistant (6-month, Third-party contract) to support to students, visitors, and the wider University community. While the position is advertised by RMIT Vietnam, the successful candidate will be employed and managed by an external service provider, who will be responsible for the labour contract.

POSITION SUMMARY
RMIT Careers, Alumni and Industry Relations offers support in various career-related services including career consulting, mock interview & CV check, employment placements, mentoring and employability skill training
Reports to: Manager, Career Development & Employment
Reporting lines may be adjusted in line with organisational changes.
Key Accountabilities Summary
Student Facing - Besides supporting for Flagship Internship student (20%)
- Act as the first point of contact to introduce students about Job Shop services through different channels (Mentoring, CV/Interview/Cover Letter, Careers Online Portal, Facebook page, one-on- one meetings, online appointment, email and phone correspondence).
Event & Communication & Consultation (80%)
- Provide peer-to-peer consultations for students regarding RMIT Flagship Internship program
- Support to develop marketing, promotional and communication materials for Flagship Internship program (Video clips, newsletters, brochures, podcast and notebook) and Job Shop events.
- Support Internship team and Careers Department in workshops (Preparation Workshop, Enhancement Workshop, mini workshops) and engagement activities (Recruitment Week, Career Fair, etc.)
- Assist with the planning and hosting of both online and offline career events/workshop.
- Maintain confidentiality in line with RMIT’s Code of Conduct.
- Assist in the office administrations and other duties as assigned
Key Selection Criteria
- Current RMIT student in any program/major
- Experience in student advising and peer-to-peer support with positive attitude in delivering customer service
- Understanding about student’s behaviours, passion in an active and dynamic student experience during university is preferred
- Proactive, responsible, detail-oriented and problem-solving skills
- Strong presentation and organizational skills
- Competent verbal and written communication skills in both Vietnamese and English
