GENERAL DESCRIPTION :
As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the implementation of a new Hospital Information System (HIS) within our group of hospitals. The ideal candidate must have a deep understanding of a total Hospital Information System, excellent project management skills, and the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels. The role supports the Project Director by translating project direction into coordinated execution across Project Managers, ensuring consistency in planning, reporting, risk management, and delivery practices.
JOB DESCRIPTION :
Project Planning and Execution:
Develop comprehensive project plans, including objectives, timelines, resource allocation, and budgeting.
Coordinate project activities, tasks, and deliverables to ensure timely completion within budget and scope.
Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful outcomes.
Support integration between functional, technical, and operational workstreams.
Highlight resource conflicts or allocation gaps.
Financial Analysis and Reporting:
Conduct thorough financial analysis to support project decision-making processes.
Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, forecasts, and budgets for stakeholders.
Evaluate project financial performance and identify areas for improvement or cost-saving opportunities.
Stakeholder Management:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and business units, to ensure alignment with project objectives.
Communicate project status, updates, and risks to stakeholders at all levels, including executives and team members.
Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate project success.
Risk Management:
Identify potential risks and uncertainties associated with financial projects and develop risk mitigation plans.
Monitor and assess project risks throughout the project lifecycle, implementing proactive measures to minimize their impact.
Compliance and Regulatory Requirements:
Ensure compliance with relevant Healthcare regulations, policies, and standards throughout the project lifecycle.
Stay informed about changes in Healthcare regulations and industry best practices, incorporating them into project plans as necessary.
JOB REQUIREMENT :
Education: Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, project management, or a related field. Advanced degree or certification (e.g., PMP) preferred
Knowledge and Experiences: 15 years’ experience in Healthcare IT project management
Skills & Competencies:
Experienced in the techniques for planning, monitoring, and controlling projects/programs
Sound knowledge of Change Management principals and implementation
Good knowledge of program and project management methodologies e.g. PMP, Prince2
Ability to control costs and manage project resources effectively
Programme coordination and integration
