SHIFT: Monday through Friday from 8:00 am - 4:30 pm in office

ROLE SUMMARY:
The Sensory and Consumer Science team is a multi-disciplinary function requiring expertise in the fields of sensory science, beer tasting, brewing, consumer behavior, statistics and analytics, psychology and physiology. The Sensory and Consumer Science Temporary Associate is responsible for overseeing and maintaining all technical databases, sit on stability and taste panels as needed to train as a taster, as well as all logistics required in seeing product arrives safely to consumer testing and/or internal tastes.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Manage and document the approval process for all products being tested with consumers
· Work autonomously to maintain product inventories, technical databases, project dashboards, and work with global and local partners to keep all shared project folders current
· Regularly oversee all logistical process involved in receiving and shipment of product samples to external and/or internal tastes as needed
· Manage annual global technical evaluation of largest share products in both the US and Canada
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
· Bachelor’s degree required; Natural Science, Applied Stats/Data Science, Food Science, Physiology, Psychology preferred
· Data collection and data analytics software skills such as: EyeQuestion, Fizz or Compusense, XLSTAT, R, Python a plus
· Strong interpersonal leadership and communication skills. Learning agile. Collaborative and strong team spirit. Likes coaching and training. Excellent listener
· Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and planning skills with a pragmatic mindset
· Ability to work in an environment in which priorities, project scope, and time schedules will be set and adjusted often
