Consultant Dermatologist (Female) - Abu Dhabi

Position OverviewWe are seeking an experienced and patient-focused Female Consultant Dermatologist to join a leading healthcare organization in Abu Dhabi.The successful candidate will provide comprehensive dermatological assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up for patients with medical, surgical, cosmetic, and aesthetic dermatological conditions.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide consultant-level diagnosis and management of a broad range of dermatological conditions.Conduct comprehensive dermatological examinations and develop individualized treatment plans.Diagnose and manage conditions including:Acne and acne scarringEczema and dermatitisPsoriasisRosaceaPigmentation disordersHair and scalp disordersNail disordersSkin infectionsAutoimmune and inflammatory skin diseasesSkin cancers and suspicious skin lesionsPerform appropriate dermatological procedures, including:Skin biopsiesCryotherapyElectrocauteryMinor dermatological surgeryIntralesional treatmentsChemical peels and other procedures within the physician's scope of practiceProvide aesthetic dermatology services where appropriately trained, including injectables, laser treatments, and other non-surgical cosmetic procedures.Evaluate and manage hair loss and scalp disorders.Assess suspicious lesions and coordinate appropriate biopsy, pathology, surgical, or oncology referral.Provide comprehensive counselling regarding treatment options, risks, benefits, and expected outcomes.Maintain accurate and confidential patient records.Collaborate with other medical and surgical specialties when required.Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, research, and continuing medical education.Support the training and mentoring of junior doctors and clinical staff.Required QualificationsMBBS, MBChB, MD, or equivalent medical degree.Recognized postgraduate qualification in Dermatology / Dermatovenereology.Recognized Board Certification or equivalent specialist qualification.Valid UAE professional license or eligibility for licensing in Abu Dhabi.ExperienceSignificant post-specialty experience at Consultant level in Dermatology.Strong experience managing a broad spectrum of medical dermatology conditions.Experience in dermatological procedures is essential.Aesthetic dermatology experience is an advantage.Experience in a hospital, multispecialty medical centre, or specialist dermatology clinic is preferred.Key Skills & CompetenciesMedical DermatologyClinical DermatologyProcedural DermatologyDermatological SurgerySkin Cancer ScreeningHair & Scalp DisordersLaser and Aesthetic DermatologyCosmetic DermatologyPatient Assessment & CounsellingEvidence-based treatment planningCandidate ProfileThe ideal candidate will be a Female Consultant Dermatologist with excellent clinical expertise, strong communication skills, and a patient-centred approach.The candidate should demonstrate:Excellent diagnostic and clinical decision-making skills.Strong procedural competency.Professionalism and attention to detail.Excellent patient communication and counselling abilities.Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare environment.Commitment to patient safety, quality care, and continuous professional development.What We OfferCompetitive consultant-level compensation.Professional and supportive working environment.Access to modern dermatology facilities and technologies.Opportunities for continuing medical education and professional development.Multidisciplinary clinical environment.Attractive benefits package in accordance with organizational policy.
