Service Manager - East London, Eastern Cape
Are you an experienced operations leader with a passion for service excellence, customer satisfaction, and team management? We are seeking a Service Manager to take full responsibility for service delivery, operational efficiency, and staff management within our East London branch.
Minimum Requirements
Grade 12 (Matric)
Operations Management Diploma (Advantageous)
Valid Code 08 Driver's Licence
Minimum 2 years' Service Management experience
Minimum 2 years' Management / Leadership experience
HR and Industrial Relations experience will be advantageous
Key Responsibilities
Service & Operations Management
- Full responsibility for all services within the branch
- Ensure services are delivered efficiently, on time, and according to company standards
- Monitor service sequencing and handheld device usage to achieve KPIs
- Manage installations, maintenance tickets, and equipment withdrawals
Asset & Fleet Management
- Oversee asset management and accountability
- Manage vehicle maintenance, servicing schedules, and inspection checklists
- Ensure company assets are maintained and utilised effectively
Customer Service & Client Relations
- Conduct customer visits and maintain strong client relationships
- Resolve customer queries and service-related issues promptly
- Attend meetings at customer sites as required
Stock & Warehouse Management
- Supervise loading and offloading of stock from cages
- Manage stock levels and warehouse operations
- Oversee ordering and control of stock
- Manage contract consumables and inventory control
Health & Safety Compliance
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety policies and procedures
- Work closely with Health & Safety representatives
- Coordinate and maintain client safety files
- Ensure safety documentation remains up to date at all client sites
- Manage employee medicals, inductions, and certifications to ensure uninterrupted site access
Team Leadership
- Lead, supervise, and develop branch employees
- Manage distribution staff performance and productivity
- Provide training, coaching, and support to team members
- Handle people management responsibilities in line with company policies
General
- Perform additional reasonable duties as required by management

Health & Safety compliance knowledge
Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment
Salary and Benefits:
- Salary between R16000 to R19000 per month CTC depending on experience
