Summary:
In this role, you will inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain pre-owned vehicles to dealership and manufacturer standards. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-focused, and committed to completing high-quality work while helping deliver an excellent customer experience.

Responsibilities:
- Inspect, diagnose, maintain, and repair used vehicles efficiently and accurately
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and drivability concerns and complete repairs to dealership standards
- Communicate with the parts department to secure needed parts and keep repair work moving efficiently
- Save and tag warranty or customer-requested parts as required
- Inspect assigned vehicles and recommend additional safety or service work when needed
- Communicate promptly with the service advisor regarding additional work, changes in repair needs, or delays in completion time
- Document all work performed and recommended on the repair order
- Road test vehicles as needed to confirm concerns and verify completed repairs
- Participate in manufacturer-sponsored training programs, schools, and events
- Support team productivity and assist other technicians as needed
- Keep customer vehicles clean and notify the service advisor immediately of any change in vehicle appearance or condition
- Follow all federal, state, and local regulations, including hazardous waste disposal and OSHA Right-to-Know requirements
- Operates all tools and equipment in a safe manner.
- Reports any safety issues immediately to management.
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- 1–3 years of automotive technician experience preferred
- Strong working knowledge of automotive diagnostics, maintenance, and repair
- Ability to work efficiently while maintaining high-quality repair standards
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced service environment
- Good communication skills with the ability to explain technical information clearly and professionally
- Quality-focused approach with a “fix it right the first time” mindset
- A high level of accuracy with excellent attention to detail
