We are looking for dedicated and reliable Housekeeping Assistants to join our Bank team, supporting our hotel services function and helping maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and comfort for patients, visitors, and colleagues.

This flexible bank opportunity allows you to work shifts that fit around your availability while gaining valuable experience within a prestigious private healthcare setting.

 

How You'll Help Us Make Health Happen

• Maintain exceptional standards of cleanliness throughout patient rooms, clinical areas, offices, and public spaces.
• Ensure patient bedrooms are prepared and maintained to a high standard, creating a comfortable and welcoming environment.
• Clean and replenish bathrooms, washrooms, and communal areas in accordance with infection prevention and control procedures.
• Respond promptly to housekeeping requests from patients and hospital departments.
• Safely dispose of waste and manage laundry activities in line with hospital policies.
• Replenish cleaning supplies, toiletries, and consumables as required.
• Adhere to all health and safety, infection control, and COSHH guidelines.
• Work collaboratively with clinical and non-clinical teams to support an outstanding patient experience.

 

What You'll Bring

• Previous housekeeping, cleaning, or hotel services experience, ideally within healthcare, hospitality, or a similar environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards.
• Understanding of infection prevention and cleanliness standards.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• A positive, professional, and customer-focused approach.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a wider team.
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays where required.
• A proactive attitude and willingness to support colleagues across the department.
