We are looking for an Employee Benefits Associate Account Manager to support our Employee Benefits team and provide responsive service to clients of all sizes. This is a strong opportunity for someone who enjoys helping others, stays organized, and wants to build a career in employee benefits.
You will assist with renewals, implementations, ongoing account administration, and day-to-day service while gradually taking on greater responsibility as your knowledge, licensing, judgment, and experience grow.

Responsibilities:
- Support Account Managers with client renewals, marketing, implementations, and ongoing account administration.
- Assist clients with benefit-related questions and service needs, coordinating with carriers and vendors as appropriate.
- Process client and carrier requests accurately and maintain complete, current records in agency systems.
- Prepare client communications, reports, presentations, and other benefit materials.
- Monitor assigned tasks, meet established deadlines, and keep Account Managers informed of progress or concerns.
- Develop working knowledge of employee benefits, industry requirements, carrier practices, and agency procedures.
- Support department initiatives, process improvements, and special projects as assigned.

Requirements
- Prior employee benefits, insurance, client service, or administrative experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
- High school diploma or GED required; bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience preferred.
- Current state life and health insurance license preferred at hire; ability to obtain the required license within the timeframe established by management is required.
- Strong client service, communication, organization, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to prioritize assignments, meet deadlines, and support multiple Account Managers in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, follow-through, and sound judgment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to learn new systems and technology.
- Initiative, accountability, and a commitment to continued learning and professional development.
This position involves regular client and business-partner contact and requires professional communication, judgment, conduct, and appearance. The role requires the ability to work with changing priorities and unscheduled interruptions, sit for extended periods, and use standard office and computer equipment.
