The Opportunity
We are seeking a Senior Solicitor with a passion for Real Estate law to join our leading Digital Legal Delivery team in Melbourne.
This role offers exposure to a wide range of blue-chip clients, innovative legal technology, and global strategic projects.
You will be responsible for:
Delivering Digital's real estate legal work, including high-volume leasing matters across commercial, industrial, and retail sectors, as well as supporting due diligence and transactions.
Providing commercially focused, practical and high-quality legal advice and service to clients.
Taking ownership of matters from instruction through to completion, ensuring delivery is timely, accurate and aligned with client objectives.
Supervising and mentoring junior team members, providing regular feedback through structured coaching sessions.
Operating as a key client contact, you will build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across multiple clients.
Collaborating with colleagues in different offices and different practice groups, as well as across our global network, to deliver high-quality work on complex and large-scale deals.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
A minimum of 4 years' experience as a Lawyer in a property or leasing practice.
A current unrestricted practicing certificate.
Leasing experience to include drafting and negotiating leases and related documents. Experience working in a high-volume leasing practice will be highly regarded.
Strong academic results and a commitment to continuous learning.
Solid technical legal skills, including drafting, negotiation and matter management skills.
Experience supervising juniors, and a natural passion for developing others and cultivating a team culture in line with our firm's values.
An innovative mindset, curious about AI and emerging technologies.
