Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Low Voltage Electricians for projects located in or around Waukesha, WI. This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is up to $40/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope:
- Install infrastructure for building automation, temperature controls, and security systems
- Install wire support systems, conduit, cabling, and cable management systems
- Install and terminate panels, controllers, field devices, and related control system components
- Install and connect power to equipment, panels, and devices
- Label all installed wiring according to project requirements
- Read, review, and follow blueprints, drawings, project specifications, deadlines, and sequences of operation
- Work with programmers and commissioning agents to test and troubleshoot system operation
- Coordinate material needs and ordering requirements
- Maintain project tools, equipment, ladders, drills, gang boxes, and material inventory
- Update as-built drawings as needed
- Perform additional duties related to building automation and security system installations
Requirements:
- Electrical experience required, preferably with low-voltage control systems
- Knowledge of electrical codes
- Journeyman or Master Electrical License is a plus
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to read and understand blueprints, drawings, and project documentation
- Ability to learn and follow sequences of operation
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
- Professional attitude and commitment to quality workmanship
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Strong attendance and reliability record
- Ability to pass required background checks
- Occasional overnight travel may be required
