Level I:
Estimated annual base pay: $65,000 (minimum) - $78,000 (midpoint) - $84,000 (maximum)
Level II:
Estimated annual base pay: $77,000 (Minimum) - $100,000 (Midpoint) - $123,000 (Maximum)

Level I:
Key Responsibilities:
Support the Actuator Specialty Valve (ASV) and Integrated Support Team (IST).
Works assigned tasks to meet schedule and may coordinate details with other departments.
Recognizes problems which are beyond capabilities and is learning from the experts in the area.
Learns the steps involved to incorporate process improvements.
Performs routine functions which require application of standard techniques, procedures and criteria in carrying out a sequence of related engineering tasks.
May perform small component tests to support more senior engineers.
Key Skills:
Effective written and verbal communication skills; learning technical writing skills (procedures, reports, etc.).
Basic skills in problem solving and troubleshooting.
Basic understanding of organizational structure and flow of information in the company. Recognizes problems which are beyond capabilities and seeks out appropriate experts and tools.
Basic ability to understand and interpret industry and Woodward technical standards including quality system standards and PLC process
Fundamental knowledge of commercial and in-house analytical packages. Ability to run existing standard tools. (e.g. Excel, equation solver software, etc.)
Basic understanding of component function and testing. Learning manufacturing processes, drawings and geometric dimensioning and tolerances as well as shop standards and procedures.
Effective time management skills.
Team Leadership: Learns to work as part of a team and contribute to team goals. No leadership responsibilities at this stage.
Process Improvements: Observes processes and suggests minor improvements under supervision.
Application and Field Use Knowledge: Gains exposure to tested products and their basic applications in the field.

Level II:
Key Responsibilities:

May implement process improvements on a project level.
Performs work which involves the use of conventional engineering practices.
Writes and performs component tests with some supervision.
Key Skills:
Effective written and verbal communication skills including presentations (internal only); Basic technical writing skills (procedures, reports, etc.).
Competent skills in problem solving and trouble-shooting.
Ability to effectively operate in the project team environment and communicate with customers. May direct or lead work of technicians, detailers and designers.
Basic ability to understand and interpret industry and Woodward technical standards including quality system standards and PLC process
Basic use and understanding of FEA tools, basic use of DFSS tools and methodologies; Basic knowledge of Engineering quality systems (PLC, engineering change, configuration management). Assists with the development of department and organization procedures.
Basic understanding of component function and testing. Learning manufacturing processes, drawings and geometric dimensioning and tolerances as well as shop standards and procedures
Effective time management skills.
Other Qualifications:
4 Year Bachelors BS degree+ 1 Year of experience or MS
International - Bachelors BS/University degree equivalent by Country AND 1 year of experience or Masters
