We are looking for a Business Services and Compliance Manager (BSCM) on a full-time permanent basis to lead Business Services activities in ACCA national offices in Nigeria and Mauritius. Under the supervision of the Regional Head of Business Services and Compliance – Africa and in collaboration with Market Heads, the BSCM will undertake the following responsibilities:
The Job
On a day to day basis you'll be involved in:
- Supports the Offices by promoting, facilitating and championing effective risk management. Ensures that all controls and mitigating actions around operational risks are robustly in place and completed within agreed time scales.
- Identifies shortcomings in current compliance processes, systems and procedures; develops ad hoc solutions to immediate problems within assigned unit and/or discipline.
- Leads the delivery of the Office's safety, health and environment service under guidance of senior colleagues.
- Provides contract management support for the regional offices including: 1. internal events 2. office supplies 3. logistic - mail, couriers, parcels etc. 4. taxis and drivers etc. Day to day management of the office environment.
- Manages and delivers required service levels for a portfolio of facilities’ services as described in the Global Property Asset Management Strategy
- Manages Business Services operational and capital budget which includes submission of annual budgets, reforecasting and variance reporting as per the organisation’s budgeting cycle.
- Manages assets to ensure safety and proper use in line with ACCA established procedures

- Substantial general work experience together with comprehensive job-related experience in own area of expertise to fully competent level. (Over 6 years to 10 years)
- Experience of general supervision of commercial contracts, office suppliers and procurement (7 to 12 months). Project management experience to deliver projects on time and budget.
