Responsibilities

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the oversight, training, and on-shift supervision of Changeover staff and other staff as needed.
  • Enforce administrative policies and procedures as it relates to the building.
  • Assist with the implementation, evaluation, and day to day operation of the game day setup and tear down including flooring, seating, tables, stages, ramps, etc.
  • Perform seating, facilities, and event checklists inspections
  • Report issues to management as they arise 
  • Assist with cleaning, housekeeping, and light maintenance
  • Follow safety precautions and emergency procedures
  • Attend all Staff and Committee meetings as assigned.
  • Weekend work and game day work is required 

Qualifications

Applicants must be 18 years or older.

 

Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Some experience using hand tools preferred

Skills/Abilities:

  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to problem solve
  • Ability to perform general labor
  • Must be able to discuss, converse with, and exchange accurate information with patrons, staff, stakeholders, etc.

Work Environment and Physical Demands

Work Environment

  • Non-smoking environment
  • Moderate to loud noise
  • Maintain flexible hours for events that occur on weekends and evenings 

Physical Demands

  • Walking, standing or working events
  • Must be able to traverse throughout the center
  • Must be able to lift, move and set up items weighing as much as 75 lbs.
