What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to students, staff, visitors, and community members by carrying out site-specific procedures, school district policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of school buildings, grounds, parking areas, athletic facilities, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, reporting unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, medical situations, disturbances, and critical events in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Complete accurate reports, activity logs, and incident documentation, and communicate relevant information to school personnel and Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• A state, county, or city-issued security license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
