About the role
We are looking for a Security Officer to provide proactive, professional and discreet security support across Eaton Estate. Working on a 4-On 4-Off shift pattern as part of the Security Team, you will help protect the Grosvenor Family, colleagues, visitors and estate assets by maintaining a visible, responsive and highly professional security presence.
Reporting to the Security Team Leader, you will play an integral role in ensuring the estate operates safely and smoothly. This will include monitoring access, carrying out internal, external, perimeter and ad-hoc patrols, responding to incidents and operating security and communication systems within the Security Operations Centre.

What you'll be doing
As a Security Officer, you will:
- Monitor and control access to estate properties and facilities.
- Carry out internal, external, perimeter and ad-hoc patrols.
- Respond appropriately to security incidents and emergencies.
- Provide emergency first aid and support initial firefighting responses when required.
- Operate security and communication systems within the Security Operations Centre.
- Escort contractors and visitors safely around the estate.
- Provide discreet protection and support to members of the Grosvenor Family.
- Support the wider security strategy in protecting people, property and assets.
- Comply with all security procedures, health and safety requirements and regulatory standards.
- Contribute to continuous improvement within the security function.
- Support emergency responses and undertake additional duties as required.
What you’ll bring
We're looking for someone who is professional, discreet and committed to delivering exceptional standards of security and customer service. You will be confident working independently, whilst also thriving as part of a collaborative team, and you will have the following skills and attributes:
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Professional, proactive and detail-focused.
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and Teams.
- A team player with a flexible approach.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Minimum one year's Commercial Security Officer experience.
- Able to work flexible shifts and undertake regular patrols.
- Desirable: SIA Door Supervisor Licence, CCTV Qualification and/or Close Protection Licence.
