Position Summary:
Are you an organized, detail-driven operations professional looking to grow within the Workday ecosystem? We are seeking a Workday Resource Manager to support the Resource Management Organization (RMO) within ERPA's Workday Practice. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Resource Management, this role is responsible for executing day-to-day resource coordination, staffing operations, and post-production support processes.
This individual will serve as a key operational partner to Delivery Leadership and Engagement Management, ensuring efficient ticket management, accurate resource tracking, and strong process adherence across the organization.
The ideal candidate has experience working within a Workday Partner environment, thrives in a fast-paced setting, and is highly organized with strong attention to detail and a process improvement mindset.
Key Responsibilities:
Ticket Management & Operational Execution
- Own and manage the Jira ticket queue, including triage, assignment, and tracking
- Monitor ticket aging and ensure timely movement through the queue
- Propose resource assignments based on availability, skillset, and priorities
Staffing Coordination
- Execute resource allocation decisions in partnership with the Senior Manager, Resource Management
- Coordinate backfills for PTO and coverage gaps
- Support real-time staffing adjustments
- Help resolve resource scheduling conflicts and escalate competing priorities to the Senior Manager, Resource Management
Forecasting & Time Entry Compliance
- Monitor and request forecast updates on an ongoing basis from delivery resources
- Ensure timely and accurate time entry
- Maintain data accuracy to support staffing decisions
Contractor Coordination
- Review contractor time submissions for accuracy and timeliness
- Support coordination with external consultants in our Independent Partner Programs (IPP/IPP Plus)
Administrative & Systems Support
- Serve as backup Jira administrator
- Support certifications tracking and reporting
- Maintain data integrity and consistency across tools, processes, and reporting
Reporting & Tracking
- Maintain a comprehensive view of resource availability, both internal and external
- Track resource utilization metrics and staffing trends
- Provide regular updates and reports to the Senior Manager, Resource Management
Process Support
- Follow and help enforce standardized resource management processes
- Identify and escalate opportunities for improvement
- Stay informed on industry trends and best practices in resource management
Preferred Experience:
- 2–5 years of experience working at a Workday Partner or in a resource management, staffing, or project coordination role
- Familiarity with the Workday ecosystem, including consultants and partner networks, is a plus
- Strong understanding of resource planning, allocation, and utilization concepts
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to work independently, prioritize, and manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders at all levels
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment and adapt to ever-changing priorities and deadlines
- Experience with tools such as Jira and forecasting systems preferred
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, project management, or a related field is preferred
