Pay Rate: $16.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeMon03:00 PM - 11:00 PMTue03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while following facility protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of hospital buildings, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor management, directions, and access-control procedures in a healthcare setting.
• Document incidents, observations, and/or unusual activity and communicate relevant information to appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• High school diploma or Verifiable High School Diploma or GED (Certificates of Completion not acceptable)
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
