Senior Cost Accountant
AS A COST ACCOUNTANT, YOU WILL:
- Daily track production and scrap reporting to management team
- Solve problems involving standard costs, Inventory, Bill of Materials, routings, MRO expenses, sub inventory.
- Engineering Change Request evaluation and follow, analysis and review (ECN) for updating in sub inventories and adjustments.
- Maintain and perform annual standard costs update, while driving cost accounting integrity.
- Support in planning and develop the annual Physical Inventory working with the Materials Manager.
- Perform analysis on standard variances, as well as month end & any other cost analysis reports.
- Month end journal entries generating (Accruals, Material variance, other miscellaneous, etc.). Review of journals entries generated on end of month.
- Setting cost centers, departments, etc.; and all the items needed for create a new line in Oracle.
- Support in any other financial area by tasks or analysis directed by Local Mgmt. & Corporate.

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or engineering
- Bilingual Spanish-English
- A minimum of +5 years of experience in similar role
- Advanced excel (pivots, vlookup’s, grouping, subtotals, etc.)
- Action oriented
- Teamwork
- Able to work under stress.
PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS:
- Decision making
- Skilled in Oracle is a plus.
- Effective in communicating at all levels.
- Power BI is a plus
