About the Role
Based in South Australia, the Project Coordinator works within the Specials project team working on tier one construction projects with key focus on the Torrens to Darlington project. The project coordinator provides support across the team to ensure the provision of core operational functions are delivered in a high level and professional manner that strives to achieve a successful project business cycle. This role is responsible for the end‑to‑end commercial coordination of projects and opportunities, working closely with the External Sales Team to ensure effective contract execution, tender support, and high‑quality customer service delivery.You will act as the day‑to‑day commercial interface for assigned customers—coordinating enquiries, quotations, tenders, contracts, and sales orders—while ensuring accuracy in systems, proactive issue resolution, and continuity of service for key customer relationships. This is a commercial support role with real accountability, supporting profitable growth rather than a purely administrative position.
What You'll Do
Manage end to end project customer interaction, actioning all queries, quotes and internal communications
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, suppliers, internal functions, and affilate factories.
Facilitate handover processes to Contract Management team for successful bids and work packages. .
Maintain organized systems and processes for Tender documentation and ensure timely collection, organization, and filing of all relevant documents.
Maintain project progress/summary report.
Support ad-hoc duties as required within the Specialties channel and other tasks as required from time to time.
Preparing tender quote and relevant documentation.
Take reasonable care to ensure the health and safety of self and others
Report Injuries and Identified Hazards
Follow Prysmian OHSE Policies and Procedures.
What You'll Need to Succeed:
Demonstrated experience in customer account coordination, contract administration, customer service, or a similar commercial support role.
Strong commercial awareness with excellent attention to detail, particularly when managing pricing, contracts, and customer requirements.
Proven ability to manage competing priorities, solve problems proactively, and drive issues through to resolution.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build relationships, influence outcomes, and navigate challenging situations.
A resilient, adaptable, and customer-focused approach, with a continuous improvement mindset.
Strong administrative and organizational skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, PDF editing tools, and ERP systems (SAP preferred).
Experience supporting tenders, bids, or commercial projects is highly regarded.
A degree in Business, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant work experience.
