Responsibilities
Responsible for program management of Piedmont Augusta occupational medicine at the operational, programmatic, and policy and procedure levels as it relates to the occupational health business. This position develops and implements approved standards and guidelines for occupational health programs assuring that the programs meet customer needs and attract new business. The position requires a high level of organizational, interpersonal, leadership, and financial management skills to ensure the development of systems, programs, and the availability of resources necessary for the delivery of services consistent with customer needs; licensing and accrediting agency standards; and financial goals of Piedmont Augusta. This position develops, directs, coordinates, and markets the occupational health service program to market area businesses and other interested parties. Activities include planning and designing service offerings; enhancing existing while obtaining additional occupational health program contracts; directing, coordinating, and ensuring effective and efficient delivery of those contracted services; integrating and coordinating the delivery of those contracted services; improving and enhancing contract performance. Positions works closely with the Director of Prompt Care services to ensure occupational medicine services are provided to designed standards in shared service locations.Qualifications
Education- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Health Administration, or a closely related field. Required or
- In Lieu of degree ix (6) years of relevant work experience will be accepted in addition to the experience requirement Required
- 5 years of experience in a medical practice, hospital or other health care setting with demonstrated leadership experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. Required or
- In lieu of degree 11 years of experience in a medical practice, hospital or other health care setting with demonstrated leadership experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. Required
- Previous occupational medicine or development of employer-based healthcare programs Preferred
