We are looking for a highly engaging, safety and customer focused individual to join our team as Security Supervisor. The successful candidate for this role is engaging, highly detailed, and is open to learning and leading by example, responds in a professional and courteous manner to guests and team, as well as being there to support the team both personally and professionally.
The Security Supervisor supports the Director of Security in planning, directing, and managing all aspects of the resort's security and safety operations. This role helps ensure the safety of guests, team members, contractors, and property assets while maintaining exceptional guest service standards. The Security Supervisor oversees daily security operations, supervises security personnel, responds to emergencies, and ensures compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.

Your Role:
*Assist in managing the day-to-day operations of the Security Department.
*Supervise evaluate Security Officers
*Conduct shift briefings and ensure consistent communication across all security teams.
*Promote a culture of professionalism, accountability, and exceptional guest service.
*Monitor and protect resort guests, associates, visitors, and company assets.
*Oversee patrol operations, access control, surveillance systems, and incident response.
*Investigate security incidents, accidents, thefts, disturbances, and policy violations.
*Prepare detailed incident, accident, and investigative reports.
*Coordinate emergency response activities, including evacuations and crisis management.
*Ensure compliance with fire life safety standards and emergency preparedness procedures.
*Conduct routine property inspections to identify and mitigate security and safety risks.
*Assist with developing and implementing security policies, procedures, and best practices.
*Monitor compliance with OSHA, local fire codes, and applicable regulations.
*Recommend improvements to enhance safety, loss prevention, and operational efficiency.
*Respond professionally to guest concerns involving safety or security.
*Work collaboratively with all resort departments to resolve security-related issues.
Qualifications:
*Strong leadership, communication, and conflict resolution skills.
*Experience conducting investigations and preparing professional Reports.
*Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions during emergencies
*Must maintain confidentiality and demonstrate sound judgment.
*High School Diploma or equivalent required.
*Minimum 2 years of security, law enforcement, or hospitality experience preferred.
*Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
*Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
*CPR, AED, and First Aid certification
*Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
*Must be able to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds (occasionally)
*Ability to analyze security risks and implement effective solutions.
*Strong organizational and time management skills.
