Lead Clinical Application Specialist CT - Clinical CT Application Specialist for customer training, onsite training on region, on demand support online and onsite. Reporting to Emerging Market CT Clinical Application Leader. Job Description
The Lead Clinical Application Specialist CT will focus on supporting the clinical training and use of GEHC CT systems. The Application Specialist may work individually at an account and as part of a One GE Healthcare team. An Application Specialist for CT is responsible for supporting customer training for CT products, and to support the GEHC business for product, service and sales support and will drive more proactive customer engagement as part of the pre and post-sales process and better coordinate and manage the experience for our customers throughout the life cycle of their GEHC products.
Key responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Develop and execute customer training plans to ensure competency, effective system utilization, and high customer satisfaction (NPS).
- Deliver onsite and remote clinical applications training for CT systems and advanced applications.
- Coordinate training activities with Sales and Service teams to fulfill order obligations. Fulfill render requirements Dicom data generation and compliance.
- Support presales activities including product demonstrations, customer presentations, site visits, congresses, and workshops.
- Demonstrate CT systems, workstations, and advanced clinical applications to prospective customers.
- Develop clinical evidence, demonstration datasets, and case studies to support feature adoption and upselling opportunities.
- Act as a recognized clinical and technical expert for CT products, software, and applications.
- Provide advanced clinical support for protocol optimization, image quality improvement, and workflow enhancement.
- Support market growth initiatives through trade shows, customer events, image collection, and reference site development.
- Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, and Service teams to maximize business opportunities and customer success.
- Identify customer needs and communicate leads and growth opportunities to relevant business teams.
- Improve customer satisfaction, equipment utilization, and socket retention through ongoing education and optimization activities.
- Generate and maintain customer profiles, including key stakeholders and decision-makers.
- Produce professional post-training reports, customer feedback reports, and product improvement recommendations.
- Drive realization of revenue through successful execution of onsite delivery and training commitments.
- Manage travel plans and budgets effectively while maximizing customer coverage and support.
- Demonstrate strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills in clinical environments.
- Maintain compliance with company policies, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Serve as the primary CT clinical applications resource within the assigned country while supporting customers across other regions when required.
- Work independently and as part of the broader GE HealthCare team to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
- Build strong relationships with clinicians, radiographers, radiologists, cardiologists, and key opinion leaders (KOLs).
- Continuously develop expertise in CT technology, advanced applications, and emerging clinical trends.
Quality Specific Goals:
- Knowledge and understanding of all Global Privacy and Anti-Competition Policies (including but not limited to GE Healthcare HIPPA Guidelines, and relevant Int’l Regulations, etc.) and operates within them to ensure that no company policy or Int’l / local Law is broken.
- Knowledge and understanding of all Environmental Health Policies (including but not limited to GE Healthcare EHS Policies, etc.) and operate within them to ensure that no company policy or Int’l / local Law is broken
- Aware of and comply with the GEHC Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality Management Policy, Quality Goals, and applicable laws and regulations as they apply to this job type/position. Complete all planned Quality & Compliance training within the defined deadlines and identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and take immediate corrective action as required.
- Drive continuous improvement on all related processes, work instructions, and procedures to ensure ongoing standardization and simplification of the Quality Management System.
Required Qualifications:
- Graduation / post graduation in the field of medical imaging technology /equivalent with relevant experience in CT - comply with local regulatory authority for handling / using X-ray radiation related products in clinical setting.
- Candidate should be comfortable in a physician and clinical/patient care environment
- Required active professional CT clinical/technical certifications/registries necessary to scan live patients in a clinical Scenario.
- Demonstrated current basic and advanced clinical scanning proficiencies on current products/platforms
- Minimum of 5 to 8 years clinical/ technical experience following certification with demonstrated clinical/technical skill in specific Proficiency in computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite product
- Willingness to travel extensively within your specified geographic region as well as to nationwide sales meetings and tradeshows or other regions as the job demands.
- Fluency in English, local language and additional languages are an advantage.
- Willingness and ability to travel to meet customer as well as internal GE job related requirements.
