Job Overview
We are seeking a Senior Quality Engineer to ensure the quality, accuracy, and reliability of data and analytics solutions through comprehensive testing and automation. The ideal candidate will validate data pipelines, reports, and dashboards while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality data-driven solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop test strategies, test plans, and test cases for data and analytics solutions.
- Validate data models, ETL processes, reports, and dashboards to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Perform data validation, regression testing, and automation using Python and SQL.
- Identify, document, and support the resolution of data quality issues.
- Maintain testing documentation and ensure traceability using Jira and Confluence.
- Collaborate with development and data engineering teams in an Agile environment.
- Contribute to continuous improvements in quality engineering and testing processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in Software Quality Engineering or Data Quality Engineering.
- Strong knowledge of SQL and working knowledge of Python for test automation or data validation.
- Good understanding of software testing methodologies, ETL/BI testing, and Agile practices.
- Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, and cloud data platforms such as GCP is an advantage.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
- High attention to detail with a commitment to delivering quality solutions.
