As a Front End Central Quality Program Engineer, you will play a key role in driving strategic quality transformation initiatives across Micron's global manufacturing network. Job Description Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and adaptable engineer to lead strategic programs across manufacturing sites and central organizations, ensuring alignment with Micron’s quality transformation roadmap. This key role drives standardized system implementation, ensures measurable improvements in quality performance, productivity improvement, digital innovation and strategic transformative quality programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and execute strategic quality transformation programs across global sites, developing program charters, governance frameworks, execution plans, and success metrics to deliver measurable business value.
- Drive cross-functional and cross-geographical initiatives by partnering with Quality, Manufacturing, IT, SMAI, and site stakeholders to align priorities, manage risks, and ensure successful program execution.
- Define, track and drive KPIs for speed execution alignment (SEAL) initiatives, including business values, labor productivity, yield improvement, and system adoption metrics.
- Provide regular updates to sponsors and stakeholders on progress, risks, and mitigation strategies.
- Drive cross-functional alignment and execution across program owners, pillar leads, site representatives, and central teams to achieve sustainable results
- Promote best practices in program governance and continuous improvement.
- Develop impactful communications, presentations, SharePoint content, dashboards, videos, and promotional campaigns to drive awareness, engagement, and adoption.
- Lead and support employee engagement, recognition, learning, mentorship, and people-development programs within the quality organization.
- Organize workshops, knowledge-sharing forums, and quality culture activities that foster innovation and collaboration.
- Champion digital transformation through automation, leveraging artificial intelligence for analytics, applying agentic solutions to develop intelligent workflow solutions that improve decision-making, operational effectiveness, and quality outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Data Science, Science or equivalent experience in Engineering or related field.
- Experience in a full cycle of program/project management and cross-sites coordination with demonstrated ability to lead quality initiatives, preferably in a global scale.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, presentation, and facilitation skills, with the ability to collaborate and influence optimally across diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Experience using data analytics, automation, AI, or digital transformation solutions to improve operational performance.
- Self-motivated learner with a strong desire to continuously improve, seek feedback, and expand capabilities.
- Demonstrated agility and resilience in managing ambiguity, adapting to change, and delivering high quality results in a fast paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Semiconductor manufacturing or quality engineering experience with knowledge of quality systems and methodologies.
- Experience leading cross-functional and cross-geography initiatives involving multiple stakeholders
- Experience developing executive communications and KPI/tracking dashboards.
- Experience working on automation, AI/ML, analytics, or digital transformation initiatives.
