Description
The ideal candidate enjoys working outdoors, troubleshooting technical equipment, working with their hands, and interacting with customers.
What You'll Do
- Install, test, repair, and troubleshoot Cat6, fiber, wireless equipment, antennas, access points, cameras, and AV equipment.
- Install and maintain wireless internet equipment at customer locations.
- Climb communication towers up to 160 feet to install and service wireless equipment.
- Perform signal strength, continuity, and cable testing.
- Troubleshoot and resolve field technical issues.
- Maintain tools, equipment, inventory, and company vehicles.
- Communicate professionally with customers and explain completed work.
- Document work and update the company CRM within one hour of completing jobs.
- Complete required safety and technical training.
- Valid G Driver's License required.
- Comfortable working at heights and climbing towers up to 160 feet.
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Strong mechanical and technical aptitude.
- Able to use hand and power tools.
- Reliable, organized, and safety-conscious.
- Good customer service and communication skills.
- Previous experience in cabling, telecommunications, wireless, networking, construction, or a related field is an asset.
- $22–$28/hour, based on experience.
