Job summary
Patterson Dental is seeking a highly motivated and energetic individual to join our fast-paced team. As an Equipment Coordinator, you will be responsible for the implementation of all transactions involving equipment sales in the branch. Supporting the Equipment Specialists, Territory Salespeople and all other branch personnel. This is a great opportunity within our Equipment department to further develop your dental career.
Major Duties
- Processes all equipment orders from the Equipment Specialists, Territory Salespeople and all internal/external customers.
- Determines ideal source for ordering equipment.
- Verifies orders upon receipt from the shipper and stages equipment for delivery or installation.
- Coordinates the installation of equipment with the Service Department, Territory Salesperson and the Customer.
- Generates invoices, prepares purchase orders, maintains equipment files, processes credits and returns.
- Maintains an optimum inventory of equipment items and a current customer file for all equipment purchases.
- Maintains and updates accurate records of inventory counts and locations in the inventory management system.
- Performs regular audits and physical counts to verify inventory accuracy and reconcile discrepancies.
- Maintains and updates vendor price lists and equipment files.
- Performs other tasks as requested or assigned.
Job qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Computer and general accounting skills required.
- College training in general business or accounting preferred.
- Knowledge of SAP preferred
- Previous experience in the dental field preferred.
- Strong organizational skills, sound judgment and excellent decision-making abilities.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
