Fruit Cutter Associate

Description

• Proactively assist customers with all requests
• Maintain department inventory and appearance through proper receiving, rotation, culling, storage, cleaning, organization, stocking, sampling and creative merchandising.
• Reduce loss by properly recording all merchandise returns, damaged products, spoilage, and breakage.
• Maintain accurate and appropriate signage.
• Produce items needed to fill holes in the department.
• Use various tools/ knives to cut fruits and vegetables evenly and visually appealing. 
• Use knives, balers, and all other equipment properly.
• Assist other team members in achieving the goals of the department and the store.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

· Able to physically lift 50 pounds or more.

· Must be able to push and pull equipment of various sizes and weights.

· Able to stand and exert well-paced mobility as well as bend, reach, twist and squat.

· Ability to work the necessary shifts in hot, noisy, and close conditions.

· Able to work with various fresh products, without negative allergic consequences.

Ability to work in a cold cooler.
