Schedule: Monday – Friday | 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM (15 hours/week)
Location: Holy Cross Lutheran School - North Miami, FL
Pay Rate: Rang $20.00-$25.00 depending on experience and credentials.
Are you a passionate educator who loves helping students unlock the power of reading and writing? We are seeking an energetic, reliable Literacy Teacher to guide students through focused, after-school reading intervention and language arts enrichment.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver engaging, age-appropriate literacy lessons to small groups or individual students.
Help students build phonics, vocabulary, reading comprehension, and writing skills.
Track student progress and adapt teaching strategies to meet individual learning needs.
Create a safe, supportive, and motivating after-school learning environment.
Qualifications
Teaching certification, degree in Education/English, or equivalent relevant experience.
Strong background in structured literacy, phonics, and reading instruction.
Patient, encouraging demeanor with excellent classroom management skills.
Ability to commit consistently to the 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM weekday schedule.
