Your role and responsibilities

 

In this role, you will work in plant engineering. We specialize in the construction of excitation systems for power plant generators and high-power rectifiers. A large portion of our systems are individually designed according to customer requirements, resulting in highly specialized solutions with significant technical added value.

 

The units for our customer projects are highly varied and diverse. At the same time, they require a solution-oriented, structured, and independent way of working in assembly. Technical clarifications and contributing to technical problem solving are part of everyday business.

 

Work model for the role is: onsite

 

You will be mainly accountable for:

  • Assembly and wiring according to schematics, technical drawings, bills of materials, and assembly instructions
  • Mechanical tasks such as power busbar installation, minor mechanical modifications, and water cooling circuits
  • Final assembly of large components using crane systems
  • Ensuring compliance with quality, productivity, delivery, and occupational safety requirements, while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives

Qualifications for the role

 

  • Completed vocational training as an Automation Technician or Electrical Installer
  • Experience in industrial plant engineering
  • Conscientious, reliable, independent, and deadline-oriented way of working
  • Fast learner with an efficient working style
  • Fluent German is required; good written and spoken English skills at a minimum B1 level
  • Strong computer skills and an affinity for IT
