Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Driver Route Verification in Riverview, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As a driving Unarmed Patrol Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor assigned areas, and report security-related concerns. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate clearly with site personnel, and support a caring, reliable team that acts with integrity while helping maintain an orderly environment.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, spills, unauthorized access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility buildings, operational areas, access points, parking areas, and perimeter boundaries to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor visitor, contractor, and vehicle access in accordance with site requirements, verifying credentials and maintaining accurate security-related logs.
• Report observed hazards, damaged barriers, unusual conditions, and policy violations to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
