Commercial Real Estate (CRE) delivers a comprehensive platform of financing and banking products for experienced commercial real estate clients, including balance sheet lending, CMBS origination and distribution, loan warehousing, agency financing for multifamily properties, and debt and equity capital for affordable housing.


About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking an Investment Banker in Corporate & Investment Bank as part of Commercial Real Estate. This opportunity will lead the execution of commercial real estate securitizations, including as fixed or floating rate CMBS, CRE CLO, and real estate ABS.   The position will be actively involved in all aspects of business growth and deal execution, through the creation of pitch books, maintaining credit models and diligence files, negotiation of legal documentation, and assistance in the sale/distribution of bonds. Responsibility also includes guiding deal teams and third-party clients through all facets of the securitization process.


In this role, you will:

  • Work as the top subject matter expert to lead complex, innovative, and diverse initiatives with companywide impact and which are high risk and have significant scope, cost, and benefits
  • Lead the strategy and resolution of the most complex, significant, and companywide challenges
  • Deliver solutions within Investment Banking functional area that are long term, large scale, broad reaching, and which require vision, creativity, innovation, advanced analytical, and inductive thinking, and coordination of highly complex activities and resolution
  • Provide vision, leadership, and industry expertise regarding large scale, companywide strategies that significantly influence the organization's business and financial operations
  • Lead all levels of professionals and managers across the company
  • Serve as an expert advisor within Investment Banking functional area to leadership
  • Represent the company externally in industry networking, trade, and technical events

Required Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of Investment Banking experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

  • Commercial Real Estate Securitization Execution experience
  • Credit Analysis & Financial Modeling experience
  • Deal Structuring & Transaction Management experience
  • Client Relationship Management & Business Development experience
  • Capital Markets & Distribution Support experience

Job Expectations:

  • Visa sponsorship is not available
  • Registration for Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) exam must be completed within 90 days of hire date if it is not available for transfer upon hire. FINRA recognized equivalents will be accepted
  • Registration for FINRA Series 63 (or 66) must be completed within 90 days of hire date if it is not available for transfer upon hire. FINRA recognized equivalents will be accepted
  • This position is subject to FINRA background screening requirements. Candidates must successfully complete and pass a background check prior to hire. In accordance with FINRA rules, individuals who are subject to statutory disqualification are not eligible to be associated with a FINRA-registered broker-dealer. Successful candidates must also meet and comply with ongoing regulatory obligations, which include periodic screening and mandatory reporting of certain incidents.
  • Specific compliance policies may apply regarding outside activities or personal investing; affected employees will be expected to provide information to the Wells Fargo Personal Account Dealing Team and abide by applicable policy requirements if hired. Information will be shared about expectations during the recruitment process.


Pay Range
 


Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to demonstrated examples of prior performance, skills, experience, or work location. Employees may also be eligible for incentive opportunities. $290,000.00 - $500,000.00
