About the Role:

As the Lead, FEC Supplier Relationship Management, you will play a key role in managing vendor relationships that support Financial Economic Crime (FEC) Operations across Australia & New Zealand.

 

This role is responsible for overseeing vendors throughout their lifecycle, ensuring effective onboarding, ongoing performance monitoring, governance, risk management & offboarding activities in line with the Rabobank Vendor Management Framework.

 

Working closely with Procurement, Legal, Risk & Compliance teams, you will act as the primary relationship manager for a portfolio of third-party suppliers, ensuring vendors meet agreed service, risk & compliance requirements while supporting operational effectiveness & resilience across FEC Operations.

This role can be based in either Sydney or Wellington.

 

Top Role Accountabilities:

 

Vendor Relationship Management

• Manage key vendor relationships across the Financial Economic Crime portfolio, fostering strong partnerships & driving performance, accountability & service excellence
• Own vendor lifecycle management activities, including onboarding, ongoing monitoring, periodic reviews, governance obligations & offboarding, in accordance with the Vendor Management Framework
• Conduct regular supplier performance reviews and coordinate remediation activities where required
• Ensure accurate maintenance of vendor records, documentation & governance requirements
• Partner with Procurement, Legal, Risk & Compliance teams to support contract establishment, renewal & exit processes.

 

Stakeholder Engagement & Collaboration

• Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders across FEC Operations & support functions
• Act as the primary point of contact for vendor-related operational matters, escalations & performance discussions
• Collaborate with Procurement, Legal, Risk & Compliance to ensure vendor arrangements continue to meet business, regulatory & risk management requirements
• Support stakeholders in effectively managing vendor-related risks, issues & improvement opportunities

 

Risk, Governance and Continuous Improvement

• Monitor vendor performance, risk indicators & service delivery outcomes, ensuring compliance with relevant policies, governance requirements & regulatory obligations
• Coordinate vendor governance activities, including risk assessments, performance reporting, reviews & oversight forums
• Support operational resilience & third-party risk management initiatives across the FEC supplier portfolio
• Identify & implement opportunities to improve vendor management processes, controls & reporting

 

To be Successful, You Will Have:

• 10+ years' experience in vendor management, supplier relationship management, third-party risk management or financial services operations
• Demonstrated experience managing vendors through their lifecycle, including onboarding, performance management, governance & offboarding activities
• Strong understanding of vendor management frameworks, outsourcing governance & third-party risk management practices
• Proven ability to build effective relationships with internal stakeholders & external suppliers
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management & influencing skills
• Experience working within regulated environments & managing compliance & governance obligations
• A passion for continuous improvement, collaboration & delivering strong operational outcomes.
