What You'll Be Doing

At Hastings Deering, we're looking for a professional and customer-focused Customer Service Representative - Parts to join our Customer Care Centre.

This role is all about delivering an exceptional customer experience. As one of the first points of contact for our customers, you'll handle inbound calls, assist with parts enquiries, process orders and build strong relationships through friendly, professional and efficient service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Answer inbound customer calls and respond to email enquiries professionally and efficiently.
• Build strong relationships with customers through outstanding service and communication.
• Understand customer requirements and provide parts information, quotes and solutions.
• Process customer orders accurately and within required timeframes.
• Follow up on enquiries and ensure customers are kept informed throughout the process.
• Work collaboratively with internal teams to deliver positive customer outcomes.
• Maintain accurate customer records and order information within company systems.
• Resolve customer issues with a proactive, solutions-focused approach.

About you:

We're looking for someone who genuinely enjoys helping people and takes pride in providing excellent customer service.

You'll bring:

• Previous experience in a customer service, call centre, sales support, administration, hospitality, retail, or similar role.
• Excellent communication skills and a confident, professional phone manner.
• The ability to build rapport quickly and establish strong customer relationships.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask.
• Good computer skills and confidence learning new systems.
• A positive attitude, strong work ethic and commitment to delivering great customer experiences.
• Experience in parts, automotive, heavy equipment, industrial or technical environments is advantageous but not essential.
