Shift: Monday-Friday from 7:00am to 3:30pm or until completion

Pay rate: $19.00 per hour

What Inventory Management contributes to Cardinal Health
Inventory Management is accountable for the design and execution of demand planning and customer forecasting systems, supply planning, product deployment and expediting processes, and the development and implementation of a stocking optimization model to minimize costs and inventory while delivering on service requirements.

Job Summary
The Coordinator Inventory Management is responsible for tracking and managing inventory accuracy of products. This job processes returns and recalls related to distributed products and fills out necessary paperwork as needed. The Coordinator, Inventory Management plays a critical role in ensuring customer orders are filled on time and accurately. This job tracks the financial impact of inventory levels and frequently communicates cross functionally with internal teams.
 

Qualifications 

  • High School diploma, GED or equivalent, or equivalent work experience, preferred.
  • Experience with inventory management, stocking, and maintaining accurate inventory records preferred.
  • Experience using scanners, warehouse systems, and basic computer applications preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to complete accurate documentation.
  • Ability to safely operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to routinely lift, move, bend, and transport products weighing up to 50 pounds in a fast-paced environment

Customer/vendor credentialing is required (this may include vaccinations). More details will be provided if you are selected for an interview.

 

Responsibilities

  • Receive, unload, and process incoming shipments, ensuring products are handled safely and accurately.
  • Inspect inbound freight for damage, verify quantities against shipping documentation, and report discrepancies.
  • Utilize RF scanners and inventory management systems to track product movement, update inventory records, and maintain inventory accuracy.
  • Stock, organize, and replenish inventory in designated storage locations to support operational efficiency.
  • Deliver inventory, supplies, and materials to designated customer and departmental locations in a timely manner.
  • Investigate and report inventory discrepancies, damaged products, and stock shortages to appropriate personnel.
  • Respond to customer inquiries regarding order discrepancies, product availability, and service-related issues by researching and resolving concerns promptly.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in dock, warehouse, and storage areas while adhering to company safety standards.
  • Collaborate with team members and other departments to meet inventory, service, and operational goals.
  • Follow all company policies, procedures, and quality standards while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
