Role Overview:

This position within Europe, Middle East & Africa People Service Center - People Connect Team is responsible for delivering employee lifecycle transactions and high-quality HR support by leveraging HR technology, digital solutions, and data-driven processes to ensure data accuracy, operational excellence, and exceptional employee experience.

The role serves as a key link between employees, managers, HR stakeholders, Payroll, and HR Technology teams, combining strong customer service skills with a data-driven, technology-oriented approach to problem solving and process improvement.

The position requires a strong affinity for HR technology and digital processes, acting as a key contributor to system optimization, data quality, testing activities, and continuous process improvement across the HR Service Center.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Resolve employee and manager inquiries through chat, case management, and other service channels, using established procedures, policies, and knowledge management resources to deliver accurate and timely support.
  • Process employee lifecycle transactions in Workday and other HR technology platforms, including hires, terminations, organizational changes, compensation updates, absences, and data maintenance activities.
  • Maintain a high level of data quality and accuracy across HR systems, ensuring employee records are managed in compliance with established procedures, audit requirements, and data governance standards.
  • Identify system, process, and data quality improvement opportunities, partnering with HR Technology, Payroll, and subject matter experts to support harmonization, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Investigate and resolve transactional and system-related issues, escalating complex inquiries to internal specialists, HR Technology teams, or external vendors when appropriate.
  • Leverage HR technology platforms and reporting tools to support operational excellence, troubleshoot transaction impacts, identify root causes, improve data quality and understand downstream impacts on payroll, reporting, compliance, and employee experience.
  • Participate in HR projects, system enhancements, testing activities (UAT), and process transformation initiatives to support ongoing digitalization and operational efficiency.
  • Support internal and external audit activities and ensure HR operational processes comply with legal, regulatory, privacy, and data protection requirements.

Personal Attributes and Key Skills:

  • Strong systems aptitude and ability to quickly learn new technologies, tools, and digital workflows.
  • Experience with HR systems such as Workday, ServiceNow, SAP HR, SuccessFactors, or similar platforms.
  • Demonstrated proficiency maintaining employee data within HR technology platforms, with a strong focus on accuracy and data quality.
  • Support automation and digitalization initiatives by identifying opportunities to simplify processes, reduce manual activities, and improve operational efficiency.
  • Ability to understand the downstream impact of HR transactions on payroll, reporting, security, compliance, and employee experience.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate data, identify root causes, and resolve system-related issues.
  • Strong understanding of HR processes, employee lifecycle administration, and HR service delivery principles.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong customer service orientation with a focus on delivering exceptional employee and manager experience.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency level in English (at least C1, considering CEFR requirements).
  • Other European language capabilities will be considered as a relevant asset (especially German, Italian and French).
  • At least 2 years of experience in HR Operations, employee lifecycle administration, or HR service delivery environments is required.
  • Experience across multiple HR disciplines will be considered an asset. Proficient user in Microsoft Office tools, in particular MS Excel.
  • Hands-on experience working with HR technology platforms, particularly Workday and ServiceNow.
