Responsibilities:
- Lead the daily implementation and continuous improvement of the laboratory Safety/5S+S program, ensuring a safety, clean, organized, efficient and compliant working environment.
- Lead, coach and develop the laboratory team through effective performance management, employee engagement and capability building.
- Responsible for the quality inspection and control of raw ,in-process products, and finished , ensuring the accuracy, reliability, and timely release of batches.
- Establish, standardize and continuously improve laboratory processes to enhance testing efficiency, data integrity and resource utilization.
- Ensure the stable and reliable operation of laboratory facilities and equipment, and be responsible for equipment calibration management, new equipment procurement, and testing method technical specification management.
- Collaborate closely with relevant departments to investigate product and process quality issues, providing testing, data analysis support and technical expertise for RCA, corrective actions and preventive actions.
- Support R&D, Process and relevant Department in the validation and testing of new materials, new products and new manufacturing processes. Providing technical support for the successful introduction of new products and processes.
- Organize and participate in proficiency testing (PT), round robin testing and inter-laboratory comparison programs to maintain and enhance laboratory competency.
- Special projects and assignments as ordered by superior and required by business.
- Provide ideas to improve department and company.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or above in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Polymer Science, Analytical Chemistry or related disciplines.
- Minimum 8 years of quality control or laboratory management experience in chemical, lubricant, specialty materials or manufacturing industries, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
- Familiar with applicable IATF16949 requirements and quality core tools (PPAP/MSA, etc.);
- Good English skill – oral and written
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and statistical analysis tools.
- Very strong hands-on experiences and trouble shooting skills.
- High sense of responsibility, good working attitude, positive thinking.
