Job Description
As a Security Officer Driver / Patrol in Eastvale, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor assigned areas, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. - Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and/or employees at a logistics and distribution location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of warehouse areas, loading docks, parking areas, access points, and the property perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor access to the location, verify visitor and driver authorization in accordance with site procedures, and maintain accurate logs and documentation.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and complete required incident reports.
- Observe vehicle, trailer, and pedestrian activity around shipping and receiving areas and report irregular conditions to site leadership or Allied Universal management.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
