The Opportunity:
CACI is seeking a creative, self-motivated, and collaborative AI Architect/System Admin Senior to join our innovative team. provide end‑to‑end infrastructure, security, and environment management for CACI’s IRAD Agentic Retrieval Augmentation Generation (RAG) capability. This role ensures the IRAD’s secure hosting, container orchestration, system performance, access control, and RMF‑aligned operations across development, test, and pre‑operational environments. The administrator will work closely with ML engineers, software engineers, cybersecurity personnel, and program leadership to maintain a stable, compliant, and scalable AI backbone supporting Division‑wide modernization efforts and contract pursuits (e.g., PSV, DHA, and CTC). Secondary role will be in support of Performance Support Video (PSV) production and post-production services.
Responsibilities:
Environment Management & System Operations
- System Environment Administration — Manage Linux‑
based and containerized environments supporting the IRAD Agentic RAG stack. - Container Orchestration — Deploy, monitor, and maintain Docker/Kubernetes clusters used for RAG workflows, model hosting, and microservices.
- Resource Optimization — Monitor compute, storage, and GPU utilization; optimize performance for agentic workflows and retrieval pipelines.
Security, Compliance & Access Control
- Zero‑Trust Enforcement — Implement RBAC, MFA, network segmentation, and container isolation aligned with Division security requirements.
- RMF Alignment — Support RMF documentation, control implementation, and continuous monitoring activities.
- Audit & Logging — Maintain system logs, audit trails, and monitoring dashboards for compliance and troubleshooting.
Deployment, Integration & Support
- CI/CD Pipeline Support — Assist DevSecOps engineers with pipeline configuration, automated deployments, and environment promotion gates.
- Model & Workflow Deployment — Support ML engineers in deploying new models, agentic workflows, and dataset updates.
- System Troubleshooting — Diagnose and resolve system issues across compute nodes, containers, storage, and network layers.
- User Support & Access Management — Manage user accounts, permissions, and onboarding for IRAD development and pursuit teams.
Documentation & Governance
- Technical Documentation — Maintain system configuration guides, SOPs, and environment diagrams.
- Configuration Management — Track changes, maintain version control, and ensure environment consistency across dev/test/prod.
- Governance Support — Assist with Golden Dataset governance, metadata standards, and environment compliance.
Hands-On Content & Video Production:
- Oversee and actively participate in video production, including planning shoots, setting up equipment, and capturing high-quality footage.
- Duties may include helping with planning, designing, and preparation of 3D media elements, as well as strategy and conceptualization of new designs for the project team.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Proven experience with AI Architectures and System Administration, with a strong portfolio showcasing a range of video production projects.
- Strong background in Linux administration, Docker, Kubernetes, and container security.
- Experience supporting AI/ML environments, microservices, or distributed systems
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitLab, Jenkins, GitHub Actions)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A bachelor's degree in film, media arts, communications, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Collaborate with a diverse team of professionals.
Desired:
- Experience supporting RAG architectures, vector databases, or LLM hosting.
- Experience with tools like Jira, Ayon, Flow, or FTrack.
- Experience with AI platforms (Claude, Llama 3, Stable Diffusion).

Pay Range:
There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:
$98,500-$206,800
