Job Summary

About the Role
We are looking for a Trade Compliance professional to support global import/export operations and ensure full compliance with international trade regulations. This role plays a critical part in enabling smooth cross-border operations while minimizing regulatory risks across multiple regions.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, including Export Administration Regulations (EAR)
• Classify products and technologies under HTS and ECCN codes
• Support and maintain export control policies and procedures
• Participate in internal audits for import/export compliance
• Act as a key point of contact for government inquiries related to trade
• Support development and enhancement of foreign licensing programs
• Collaborate with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and internal stakeholders to ensure shipment compliance
• Manage shipment-related activities including freight quotations and tracking when needed
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives in trade compliance processes and tools
• Handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required
• Minimum 5 years of experience in trade compliance, import/export operations, or related field
• Strong knowledge of customs regulations and traffic procedures
• Experience working across APAC, EMEA, or LATAM regions preferred
• Familiarity with HTS classification and ECCN determination
• Strong analytical skills and ability to solve complex compliance issues
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while managing multiple priorities

Nice to Have

• Customs Broker License or certifications such as CES / CCS
• Experience in high-tech, manufacturing, or data center industries
