Telco Steel Works is hiring a Level 2 CNC Machine Operator to join our structural steel fabrication team in Guelph, Ontario.
You’ll work in our 50,000 sq. ft. automated fabrication facility, operating modern CNC equipment and helping produce the structural steel components that keep our projects moving.

What You’ll Be Doing
As a Level 2 CNC Machine Operator, you’ll play an important hands-on role in our fabrication process. Your day-to-day work will include:
- Operating and monitoring CNC and robotic machinery to accurately process structural steel components
- Reading and interpreting shop fabrication drawings
- Ensuring the correct parts are produced from specified material blanks
- Loading and unloading material using manual handling methods and overhead cranes
- Marking and verifying processed material against shop drawings before release
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Working with the team to identify opportunities to improve quality and efficiency
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for someone who knows their way around CNC equipment and takes pride in producing accurate, high-quality work.
You’ll need:
- 3+ years of CNC plasma machine operating experience — required
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and fabrication documents
- Good understanding of manufacturing processes and workplace safety
- Strong attention to detail
- A dependable, team-oriented approach
- Willingness to contribute ideas and help improve processes
