Internship - Structural Engineer

Compensation: $25.00 / hour
Description
The Structural department is looking for a civil engineering intern to help work on various projects predominately focused on vertical structural design.
Our internship program is a 12-week paid summer program. We offer in depth work experience on real client projects in a supportive and collaborative environment. The position is full-time Monday through Friday.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with building design
- Assist with the preparation of local and state permit applications
- Conduct field visits
- Provide construction administration and support
- Utilize design-related computer programs such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Synchro
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Pursuing a degree in Civil Engineering with a structural focus
- 3.0 GPA or higher
- Proficiency with MS Office programs
- Experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and/or Synchro is a plus
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. of equipment
