- Mobilize global networks, including government bodies, industry consortia, and strategic partners, to shape external technology landscapes. Represent GE Vernova in high-level technical forums and set the agenda for industry-wide standards.
- Serve as a primary Change Agent. You will systematically dismantle legacy silos, foster an "One Team" culture, and drive the adoption of new methodologies (including AI integration) to accelerate research throughput and improve operational excellence.
- Elevate the organization’s collective intelligence by mentoring Engineers. You are responsible for creating the next generation of technical leadership by fostering an environment of scientific integrity and high-impact accountability.
Qualifications/Requirements

- Proven ability to define and deliver on 5–10 year technology roadmaps that have demonstrably moved the needle on organization-critical objectives.
- Demonstrated mastery in designing enterprise-scale power system architectures including power system operations, controls, protection, and grid dynamics. Proven ability to scale lab-scale developments (e.g., hardware-in-the-loop, PSCAD, Matlab/Simulink) to field implementation with a focus on grid reliability, decarbonization, and energy security
- Proven record of leading large research programs, writing successful R&D proposals, and taking concepts to product introduction
Desired Characteristics
- Consistently exhibit curiosity, scientific integrity, humility, transparency, and focus
- Cultivate a culture of continuous improvement, challenge legacy thinking, and share lessons learned to strengthen collective capability
- Grow best teams for the hardest problems, act as a strategic mentor, and foster cross-organizational collaboration
