Role Summary

PTW is seeking local Electrical Apprentices to join our team in Hinton, AB. This role involves supporting construction and maintenance electrical work on industrial projects in a fast-paced environment. Ideal candidates are safety-focused, dependable, and eager to continue developing their electrical trade skills while working alongside experienced professionals.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical systems and equipment
• Support construction and maintenance electrical work on industrial projects
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications
• Conduct inspections and maintain compliance with safety standards and electrical regulations
• Complete job documentation, reports, and required project records accurately
• Collaborate with supervisors, Journeyman, and other team members to support project success
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused work environment

Qualifications / Requirements

• Must be an indentured Electrical Apprentice or certified Journeymen
• Construction and maintenance electrical experience required
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to take initiative and work independently as well as within a team environment
• Reliable and dependable with strong attendance and punctuality
• Excellent communication skills
• Demonstrated commitment to workplace safety
• Valid safety certifications required:
  • CSO
  • Standard First Aid
  • ESC Fall Protection
  • H2S Alive
• Valid Class 5 Driver's License required
• Must be authorized to work in Canada
• Must be local to Hinton or within commuting distance, or willing to relocate
